Topic Highlights
The American Heart Association has recommended 12 lead ECGs for urban and suburban jurisdictions since 2000 but change can come slow. For those organizations that need either initial or refresher training in 12 lead acquistion and interpretation, this class is for you.
Starting with the fundamentals of ECG interpretation to ensure all students are on an even playing field, the course then goes into both standard 12 lead intrepretation, coverage of acute coronary syndromes and their relationship to 12 lead changes, andadvanced considerations for ACS and other events.
The course allows students to leave, ready to take on 12 lead patient opportunities in a confident frame of mind. This course can be combined with Capnography: The New Smoke to prepare students to fully utilize the technology of your organization's particular cardiac monitor.
