ABCs, ABCs, ABCs is all we ever hear when we start our EMS careers, but do we really focus our full attention on the airway? Sadly, the answer is often no.

This course is designed to acquaint the advanced EMS provider with issues in respiratory care, assessment of airway problems with waveform capnography, and skills to better control the difficult airway under difficult circumstances including orotracheal, nasotracheal, and retrograde intubation, rescue airways, assist devices, and cricothyrotomy.

Audience/Track
This class is for the ALS provider to consider the full airway toolbox and options in various scenarios for airway management and confirmation.
