Topic Highlights
Crew resource management, or CRM, typically refers to the application of team management concepts in the flight deck environment. However, CRM also has a value on the fireground and in EMS operations to ensure safety for everyone involved and the best care possible for the patients. This situational awareness of your surroundings is important to both the crew and patient victims in terms of managing the scene and caring for your patient.
This session will discuss CRM, its history, and possible routes to keep focused on the larger mission at hand during fire and EMS calls.
