Minnie Me: Pediatric Patient Assessment

* Describe differences in anatomy and response to illness and injury.
* List various causes of respiratory distress and failure and appropriate care.

* Discuss issues related to high tech kids or children with special health care needs.

Topic Highlights
This presentation will be an eye to eye approach to the pediatric patient that will have attendees leaving more comfortable in their pediatric assessment techniques than when they arrived. This session will both highlight the developmental differences between the ages and possible options to improve your assessment given various patients stage of development.
