Topic Highlights
This course is designed to develop the street EMT into the SWAT EMT and move them from a position of staging for violent calls to providing the best care, in hostile circumstances. This course is designed as a multiday program that will train local EMS responders to work as part of a police tactical/SWAT group.

Courses will be tailored to your specific location but include topics on pre-incident issues such as the Medical Threat Assessment, equipment and team member selection, team member rehab, development of protocols, treatment across the barricade, remote threat assessment, tactical movement, situational awareness, firearms safety, and medical care in a tactical environment.

At the conclusion, the student will have the basic skills necessary to move from the streets to the tactical environment.
